Under the auspices of the Pallet Professional Committee of the China Federation of logistics and purchasing, the revision of pallet standards is a research group composed of experts from many research institutions such as the Ministry of communications, the Ministry of Railways and the National Packaging Standards Commission. It has visited more than 200 enterprises in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Guangzhou to investigate the current situation of pallet production and use in China, widely solicited the opinions of pallet enterprises and pallet users, and held two large-scale pallet international conferences Five domestic pallet revision meetings were held, and suggestions from all walks of life were publicly solicited on the official website of the China Federation of logistics and purchasing twice. It took nearly two years. Finally, it was approved by the General Administration of quality supervision, inspection and quarantine and the China National Standardization Administration on October 11, 2007, and was officially implemented nationwide from March 1, 2008.
